"Funcrunch" is a play on "Fenchurch" which was my BBS handle back in the days when there were BBSs. Fenchurch is one of the main characters in So Long and Thanks for All the Fish, the fourth book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy" by Douglas Adams (more info courtesy of Wikipedia).

funcrunch.org became my domain name in May 2003, when I dropped enyadatta.com.
